DUBLIN
Dublin is the capital and largest city of Ireland. It was originally founded as a Viking settlement and became Ireland's principal city. Today has a population of, aproximately, 3 million people.
PLACES TO VISIT
- Guinness Storehouse: Located in the heart of the
St James’s Gate Brewery is the Guiness
Storehouse. It has been the home of the black beer since 1759. A visit will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about this
world famous beer. The highlight for many visitors is the Gravity Bar where they receive a pint of Guinness.
- National Botanic Gardens: This gardens are 19.5 hectares on the south of the Tolka River. In this garden there are many
attractive attractions like an arboretum, a sensory garden, a large bridge, an extensive herbaceous borders, and a lot of decorative plants.
- St. Patrick's Cathedral: Built between 1220 and
1260, St Patrick's
Cathedral is one of the few buildings
left from the medieval city of Dublin. Today, St Patrick's is the National
Cathedral of Ireland and still the largest cathedral in Ireland.
