PARIS

Paris is the capital and the most populous city of France. It is situated on the Seine River, in the north of the country, The city has  approximately 12 million inhabitants. 

PLACES TO VISIT

  • Eiffel tower: The most famous monument in the world, the Eiffel Tower, was originally erected as a temporary exhibit for a World Fair. It provides heart-stopping views over Paris and is visible almost from everywhere in Paris.
  • The Arc de Triomphe:  The Arc de Triomphe is the city's second most iconic monument after the Eiffel Tower. Power up your legs and climb the 284 steps to the top of the Arc de Triomphe and take the best views of the city.
  • Notre- Dame Cathedral: Notre-Dame was constructed between 1163 and 1334. Is very famous due to the novel writen by Victor Hugo The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. From Notre-Dame cathedral’s towers you can get the best views of the Eiffel tower and see the cathedral’s famous gargoyles.



MUSEUMS
  • Louvre: The most famous and important museum in Paris is the Louvre. Is one of the biggest museums in the world, people could esasily spend a day enjoying this museum. The start attraction of the museum is da Vinci’s painting the Mona Lisa. But there are other important pieces like the Venus de Milo or a collection of  Egyptian mummies.
  • Museé d’ORsay: The old  Orsay train station was converted into the Musée D’Orsay in 1986. In this museum visitors can find one of the world’s largest collections of Impressionist and Post-impressionist art painted by artist like Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh and Toulouse-Lautrec
